The iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre wraps up an awesome 2024 jam-packed with shows and events that rocked the stage. A great year for popheads, rockheads, metalheads, country music fans, R&B listeners, and so much more, South Florida’s favorite outdoor venue has hosted a plethora of heart-pounding concerts this year, including some of the biggest names in music — Post Malone, Lana Del Rey, Creed, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alanis Morissette, and many more. With world-class acts commanding its stage, we reckon it’s been one of the venue’s biggest years to date. Aside from headlining concerts, a bunch of festivals also took place in the massive space. Seating 19,000 people in every show, concert goers have witnessed their faves rock it all out right under the stars.
Earlier this Spring, the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre kicked off the year with the Rib Roundup Music Festival, hosted by New Country 103.1. Bringing some of the best country music icons — Lainey Wilson, Nate Smith, and Warren Zeiders, it was a country-bangin extravaganza. With a ton of BBQ ribs and live music, attendees jammed, and danced the night away.
As summer dropped by, the amphitheater became bustling with star-studded shows. July 18th marked pop icon JANET JACKSON’s “TOGETHER AGAIN SUMMER 2024”, with special guest Nelly opening the night. She performed her massive roster of hits alongside some all-time fan favorites, including “Love Will Never Do (Without You)”, “The Best Things in Life Are Free”, “With U”, and an awesome encore — “Someone to Call My Lover” & “Together Again”. Right under the stars, her massive setlist bewildered thousands of fans with her powerful vocals and stunning live-stage productions.
Another massive headliner is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inducted DAVE MATTHEWS BAND. Performing back-to-back nights, over 40,000 fans flocked the venue to witness their legendary hits come to life. Singing “What You Are” for the encore, it’s a memorable night as everyone just got up and sang along. Kicking off a massive summer bash, the amphitheater’s following shows turned it all up a notch, with big names such as STYX & FOREIGNER, SLIGHTLY STOOPID, REO SPEEDWAGON, and ALANIS MORISSETTE shaping up the perfect throwback playlist.
On the flip side, metalheads marched right up as KORN commanded the stage once the fall season hit. With special guests Gojira and Spiritbox, their raw energy and nostalgic metal sound dominated their 30th anniversary tour celebration. Known for their iconic hits “Blind” and “Shoots and Ladders”, you can imagine how hard they rocked the stage. As West Palm Beach couldn;t get enough of metalcore energies, LIMP BIZKIT also threw an electrifying night for their Loserville Tour. Performing their big hits, inviting fans onstage, and a couple of rockin’ covers of “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “Faith”, it was an awesome night to be alive. Definitely a sweet treat for hard metal fans, MEGADETH also held a fiery night at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre, turning the energy right up with hits from their classic debut down to their newest album. Ending the night with “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due”, everyone can agree that the show was FIRE!
Throughout the whole year, buzzing performances from artists across generations have taken over the stage. IMAGINE DRAGONS hosted an unforgettable night of their “Loom World Tour”, getting fans singing every single word to “Demons” and “Believer”. Meanwhile, KIDZ BOP brought kids front and center, singing and dancing to kid-friendly renditions of mainstream pop hits. On the flipside, we’re pretty sure the parents enjoyed catching EARTH, WIND, AND FIRE bringing out their killer groove. Meanwhile, country fans also got another round of treats as DAN AND SHAY & LUKE BRYAN headlined some awesome summer nights. Moreover, HOZIER, THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS, BOY GEORGE & CULTURE CLUB, XSCAPE & SWV, 21 SAVAGE, and many more shared energy-packed performances on these starry nights.
