The Unity Tour is back for its 10th anniversary! The Cruzan Amphitheatre (Formerly the Sound Advice Amphitheatre) in West Palm Beach, Florida will be dropping the beat with 311, Cyprus Hill and G. Love & Special Sauce! Join the tour of the decade on Sunday the 21st of July 2013!
311 released their debut album in 1995 after forming the band in
1988. Their first album, titled ‘Self-Titled Album’ (better known as The Blue Album) was a huge hit off the back of their massive singles ‘Don’t stay Home’, ‘All Mixed Up’ and ‘Down’. The name 311 comes from when the original gutarist was arrested for streaking; The police code for ‘indecent exposure’ in Omaha being 3-11. The group have released ten albums to date, including one platinum and two more gold albums. Their eleventh album is due for release later this year. Cyprus Hill is known for more than their Cuban American/Latin origins. They have had platinum and multi-platinum selling albums and have sold over 18 million albums worldwide. Cyprus Hill are responsible for hits such as ‘I Aint goin’ Out Like That’ and ‘Insane in the Brain’. The group have been nominated for grammies in the nineties. G.Love and Special Sauce were formed in Philadelphia The hip hop band are known for their unique style in blues and the release of their hit single ‘Cold Beverage’ which was featured in their first album released in 2004.
