The Red Hot Chili Peppers will return to the road in spring 2024 for another leg of their Unlimited Love tour. The veteran punk funk band's 2022-2023 tour will be extended with a run of North American performances beginning on May 28 at the RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater in Ridgefield, WA.
A$AP Rocky, King Princess, St. Vincent, The Strokes, and other notable guests accompanied the Grammy winners on their initial run of the Unlimited Love Tour, and their 2024 performances won't be any different. This time around, they have a diverse lineup of rock and hip-hop artists supporting them. Rappers Ice Cube, Ken Carson, and Kid Cudi; Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti & Egypt80; Japanese punk outfit Otoboke Beaver; rock group Wand; and indie band IRONTOM, who previously opened for them at a few 2023 events, will join them for select performances.
The 16 new Live Nation dates will also include stops in Salt Lake City, Albuquerque, Tampa, Virginia Beach, Cincinnati, Toronto, and St Louis, where the tour will conclude on July 30 at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre. The band previously announced a run of 2024 gigs, including one on February 17 at the Venue at Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln, CA, one on February 20 at the Yaamava' Theater in Highland, CA, and one on February 23 at the Innings Festival in Tempe, AZ.
Return of the Dream Canteen was released in October 2022, six months following the Unlimited Love album, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart.
The band shared a statement in a press release about what it was like working together with the core lineup for the first time since 2006’s Stadium Arcadium. "Our only goal is to get lost in the music. We spent thousands of hours, collectively and individually, honing our craft and showing up for one another, to make the best album we could," the foursome shared. "We were just so damn grateful for the opportunity to be in a room together, and once again, try to get better."
