The Offspring have just announced that they will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of ‘Smash’ on tour with Bad Religion and Pennywise. They’re expected to play the full album live at each show, including the Cruzan Amphitheatre on August 15th. There is no denying that ‘Smash’ had a huge impact in the 1990’s music scene with some of those songs (“Self Esteem,” “Bad Habit”) still sound good today. The Offspring are an American punk rock band formed in 1984. They fall into the same music bracket as Rancid, Sublime and green Day, and have released multiple hit songs including Out and Play”, “Self Esteem”, and “Gotta Get Away” which was featured on their most successful album ‘Smash’. Due to the immense popularity of this album the band is embarking on a 20th anniversary tour to celebrate its success. Joining them on the tour is punk rock band Bad Relgion and Pennywise.
