Counting Crows are one of the most recognizable bands from America's 90's music scene. Their sounds brings to mind the likes of Van Morrison, R.E.M., Nirvana and Bob Dylan with their impressive songwriting abilities which put them at top spot for the Alternative rock scene.
Their unique smooth pop sound, crafting catchy feel good songs reflected what people were looking for – something different from the massive Seattle grunge era or straight forward pop. The group kept on releasing new songs into the new millennium.
Front man Adam Duritz co-wrote the hit track "Accidentally in Love", which appeared in the movie Shrek 2 and gained a number of awards in the mid 2000's.
